The recruitment process for Jail Warder includes two main stages: a Written Exam and an Interview. Here’s a breakdown of each stage:

Written Exam:

• Duration: 1 hour 40 minutes

Physical Standards Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• Physical Standards:
  • For Males:
    • Minimum Height: 5 feet 7 inches
    • Chest Measurement: 33 inches (unexpanded)
  • For Females:
    • Minimum Height: 5 feet 3 inches
• Physical Efficiency Tests:
  • For Males:
    • 100 Meter Run: Must be completed in 15 seconds (One attempt)
    • Shot Put (7.26 Kg): Must cover a distance of 5.50 meters (Three attempts)
    • Rope Climbing: Must climb 15 feet (Three attempts)
  • For Females:
    • 100 Meter Run: Must be completed in 18.5 seconds (One attempt)
    • Shot Put (7.26 Kg): Must cover a distance of 4.00 meters (Three attempts)
    • Rope Climbing: Must climb 12 feet (Three attempts)

Candidates will first be called for the Written Exam after their applications are reviewed. Following the exam, they will undergo the PST and PET. The final selection will be based on the overall performance in these stages, along with document verification.
