UGC NET December 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently published a notification to apply online for the UGC NET December 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination in December 2024.

The Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination is conducted to determine eligibility for the award of a Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D. in Indian universities. Interested candidates can apply online from 19 November 2024 to 10 December 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M)

The last date for payment of the exam fees will be 11 December 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M)

How to Apply Online for UGC NET December 2024?

To apply Online follow these simple Steps to apply online:

• First, visit the official website of https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/
• After successful registration you have to login and apply for the application form
• Fill the registration details correctly.
• Review your application form and pay application fees
• After successfully paying fees take the printout of the application form for further use.

NTA CSIR UGC NET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

General/ Unreserved/ General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks
(without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from recognized
universities/ institutions are eligible for this Test.

The Other Backward Classes (OBC)belonging to Non-Creamy Layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Disability (PwD)/ Third gender category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. In no circumstances candidates will be allowed to fill out more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled in more than one Application Form.
