PSTET 2024 Apply Online: Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 has been started to apply online from 16 October 2024 to 04 November 2024.

The Punjab School Education Board has released the PSTET 2024 Notification on October 16 on its official website.

The Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) annually conducts the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET). PSTET 2024 is scheduled for December 1, 2024. Candidates must pass the PSTET as well as any subsequent recruitment exams following the announcement of teaching vacancies to become teachers.

The Punjab School Education Board has released the PSTET 2024 Notification on October 16 on its official website.

PSTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is conducted annually by the Punjab Education Department. For PSTET 2024, there are two papers, each with distinct eligibility criteria.

To teach primary school students (Classes 1 to 5), candidates must pass PSTET Paper 1. For teaching middle, high, and senior school students (Classes 6 to 12), candidates need to pass PSTET Paper 2. Below are the eligibility requirements for both papers:

PSTET Paper 1 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Must have completed 12th grade.
• Must possess a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./ETT).
• Candidates in their final year of the diploma program are also eligible.

PSTET Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Must have completed a bachelor’s degree.
• Must have a two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.
• Candidates in their final year of the B.Ed program are also eligible.

PSTET 2024 Fees Structure

The application fee for PSTET for Paper 1 and Papers is Rs. 1000 Each paper. For the SC, ST and differently-abled candidates Rs. 500 will be charged for each paper.

Candidates from states (other than Punjab Domicile) would be considered just in the General Category for fees. Candidates from other states will be charged the same price as General Category candidates (Rs. 1000/- per paper I and II).

Note: The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

PSTET Online Registration Process

Punjab PSTET 2024 Registration is expected to open in October 2024. Here are some important guidelines for candidates before they apply:

• Candidates can register their email address and mobile number only once. After successful registration, they must log in using their email to continue with the application process, which includes filling out Basic Details, uploading a photo/signature, providing Academic Details, entering Test Details, reviewing the application, and paying the required fee.
• It is essential for candidates to provide their email addresses and mobile numbers, as these will be used for future updates.
• Candidates are allowed to apply in only one category.
• Applicants must meet the educational qualifications and eligibility criteria set by the NCTE.

How to fill 2024 PSTET Application form

Here are the steps to apply for Punjab TET 2024:

1. Visit the official PSTET 2024 website at pstet.pseb.ac.in.
2. Click on the “New Registration” option.
3. Enter the required details in the registration form.
4. After successfully creating your account, log in to your ID.
5. Complete the application form, attach the necessary documents, and pay the application fee.
6. Click the “Preview” button to review your application.
7. Press the “Submit” button to finalize your registration.
