PSSSB Excise Inspector Selection Process
The recruitment will undergo through following process:
Written Examination:
- Part A: A Punjabi language paper of matriculation level, which is qualifying in nature. Candidates must secure at least 50% marks to pass.
- Part B: An objective-type test focused on the educational qualifications required for the post.
Merit List:
- The merit list will be prepared based on the scores achieved in Part B of the written examination. Marks from Part A will not be included in the final merit calculation.

PSSSB Excise Inspector 2025 Exam Pattern
All the aspirants are informed below with respect to the written test to be conducted
for the recruitment of Labour Inspector Grade-I (Group-C cadre) (Advt. No. 14 of
2024) :-
- The Exam will be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) format.
OMR sheets will be used for answering the questions. - The Exam would be of 2 hours 30 minutes duration.
- The Exam will consist of two parts (Part A and Part B) as follows:
(a) Part A:- Qualifying test of Punjabi Language equivalent to Matriculation
