Young individuals aged 17.5 to 21 years can apply for the Agneepath scheme, which offers an opportunity to serve in the armed forces for four years. During this period, Agniveers will receive life insurance coverage of ₹48 lakhs. Upon completing their tenure, the Indian Air Force will issue a skill certificate to the Agniveers, highlighting the skills they acquired. They will be entitled to 30 days of annual leave and sick leave based on medical recommendations. Additionally, the scheme provides certain benefits each year.

The Indian Air Force has issued a notification for the Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2025 Recruitment 2024. Interested candidates can submit their online applications from January 7, 2025, to January 27, 2025.

Photo Guidelines: Candidates must upload a recent passport-sized color photograph (taken no earlier than January 2025) with a size between 10 KB and 50 KB. The photo should be a front-facing portrait with a light background, without any headgear except for Sikhs. The candidate must hold a black slate with their name and the date of the photo written clearly in white chalk and in capital letters.
