Air Force Airmen Recruitment 2024 (Group Y) Medical Assistant Notification Out ,Apply Online

The Indian Air Force has recently published the notification for Airmen in the Group “Y” Medical Assistant Trade at website www.airmenselection.cdac.in.

Air Force Airmen Recruitment 2024: Registration for the rally commenced at 1100 hrs on 22 May 2024 and will close at 2300 hrs on 05 June 2024. Only registered candidates issued with Provisional Admit Cards are allowed to appear in the Recruitment Rally. 

Indian Air Force offers opportunities from States of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and UTs of J&K, Chandigarh & Ladakh to join the IAF as Airmen in the Group ‘Y’, Medical Assistant trade. The Recruitment Test will be held at Base Repair Depot, Air Force, Chandigarh.

The Air Force Airmen (Medical Assistant) Non-Technical Intake Group Y Recruitment Rally 01/2025 will be held from 3 July to 12 July 2024 at Chandigarh.

Marital Status and Date of Birth Block

(a) Medical Assistant trade (For candidates with 10+2): Candidate should be unmarried and born between 02 January 2004 and 02 January 2008 (both dates inclusive).

(b) Medical Assistant trade (For candidates with Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy): Unmarried candidates should be born between 02 January 2001 and 02 January 2006 (both dates inclusive). The married candidate should be born between 02 January 2001 and 02 January 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Air Force Airmen Fees Details

Registration Fee: Registration fee of Rs. 100/- plus GST is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the Recruitment Rally. The payment can be made by Debit Cards/Credit Cards/Internet Banking/UPI through payment gateway.

Air Force Airmen Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification

Medical Assistant Trade Qualification: Candidate should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and with 50% marks in English.
OR
Should have passed two years’ Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Candidate with Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy: Candidate should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. In addition, Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrolment will be mandatory requirement.

Mandatory Medical Standards for Air Force Airmen

Medical Standards are described for Air Force Airmen Recruitment 2024:

• Height:- Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm.
• Chest:- The chest should be well proportioned and well developed with a minimum range of expansion of 5 cm.
• Weight:- Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
• Hearing:-Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
• Dental:- Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and a minimum of 14 dental points.
• Visual Standards:-Vision requirements are as follows:-

Note: Corneal Surgery (LASIK/RK/PRK) is not acceptable.
