SSC GD CONSTABLE Eligibility Criteria 2023-24
Eligibility criteria for the post of SSC GD Constable Recuitment 2023 in terms of educational qualification and age limit are as follows :-
- Educational Qualification – Candidates should possess Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
- Age Limit – 18 -23
- Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2001 and later than 01-01-2006 in normal course.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
SSC GD Constable Slection Process
The selection process for SSC GD Recruitment 2024 includes the following stages:
- Phase 1:- Written Exam
- Phase 2:- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

What to Do after SSC GD Result 2024
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Test (PST) will be administered to the candidates following the release of the SSC GD Constable Written Exam (CBE) Results. Details on the SSC GD PET and PST are provided below.
The PET/PST is a prerequisite exam. Your final selection merit won’t be directly impacted by how well you perform here. To proceed to the next round of the screening process, candidates must pass all PET components and fulfill PST requirements. Certain places and groups may be eligible for candidates to have their height and chest measurements relaxed. For more information, see the official SSC GD Constable notice. Dates and locations for PET/PST will be revealed following the SSC GD CBT Result 2024.
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) assesses your stamina and endurance.
Race: Male contestants have to finish a 5-kilometer run in 24 minutes.
The time limit for female candidates is 8.5 minutes for a 1.6 km run.
Male candidates from the Ladakh region are required to run 1.6 kilometers in 7 minutes.
An 800-meter run must be finished by females in five minutes.
Test for Physical Standards (PST): Here, the following eligibility requirements are compared to your physical measurements:
Height
Male minimum height: 170 cm
Female minimum height: 157 cm

Not enlarged: 80 cm
