Paper I (Classes I–V):

• Senior Secondary with required percentage and Diploma in Elementary Education

• Senior Secondary with Bachelor of Elementary Education

• Graduation with B.Ed

• Other teacher training qualifications as recognized

• Paper II (Classes VI–VIII):

• Graduation with Diploma in Elementary Education

• Graduation with B.Ed

• Graduation with minimum qualifying marks and teacher education qualification

Full marks for the PSTET Paper 2 will be 150 where each question carries 1 mark.
