PLW Apprentice Recruitment 2025: PLW Apprentice Recruitment 2025 has been officially announced for 225 Act Apprentice posts under Patiala Locomotive Works. The recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for ITI-qualified candidates to receive hands-on training in a prestigious railway production unit. Eligible candidates who have passed 8th or 10th class along with ITI in relevant trades can apply online within the prescribed dates. Selection will be purely merit-based, followed by document verification and medical examination. Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per Apprenticeship Act norms during the training period.
The apprenticeship program is designed for candidates who have completed basic education along with ITI certification, enabling them to gain real-world exposure in locomotive manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering operations. During the training period, apprentices will work under experienced professionals, enhancing both practical knowledge and employability skills.
ITI qualification must be completed before the last date of online application
Appearing / final-year ITI candidates are NOT eligible
ITI certificates must be issued by NCVT or SCVT recognized institutes only
Higher qualification holders must still meet the exact trade requirement
No equivalent or alternative trade certificates are accepted
