SSC MTS Recruitment 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will shortly release notification for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) vacancies by May 7, 2024.

SSC MTS notification has been released officially by SSC for 8326 job posts on its website ssc.gov.in

Interested candidates can apply online from May 7 to June 6, 2024. The qualification for SSC MTS Recruitment 2024 will be the 10th pass. The Computer Based Test (CBT) exam will take place in July–August 2024, as per the notification. This is a big opportunity for 10th pass candidates to get government jobs under SSC.

The age limit for the SSC MTS Exam is 18-25 years and 18-27 years. A maximum age of 25 years old is required by certain departments and a maximum age of 27 years old by others. The distribution of the openings is determined by state, age, and category.

Regarding MTS Positions

Computer-based examinations (CBE) in Session I and Session II are the recruitment process for the MTS position. The candidate’s performance in Session I will be assessed before anything else, and only if the candidate qualifies in Session I will their performance in Session II be assessed.

Regarding Havaldar Positions

The Computer Based Examination (CBE) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST) will be used as the selection criteria.

Exam Pattern for SSC MTS Paper I: Multiple-choice questions in the following areas make up SSC MTS Paper-I, an online exam: reasoning, English language, numerical aptitude, and general awareness. There are 90 questions in all in this paper, worth 270 marks.

Together with the announcement that the SSC MTS 2024 Computer-Based Examination will take place across two sessions, the updated SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern has also been made available.

It will be necessary to undertake Sessions I and II together.

A candidate who does not attempt any sessions will be disqualified.

The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) are conducted for the candidates who clear the written exams.

Syllabus for GK

The questions aim to gauge the candidate’s overall understanding of his surroundings and how they relate to society. In addition, questions on current affairs and topics related to ordinary observation and experience in its scientific elements will be tested, as would be anticipated of a person with an education. Questions about sports, history, culture, geography, the economy, general policing, including the Indian Constitution, scientific research, static general knowledge, and other topics will also be included in the exam.
